J002 Jungle Jacket - Green

Size:

The J002 in Ripstop is designed as a warm-weather alternative to the original J002. The fabric is woven based on the 20th Century Military classic Ripstop, and is reminiscent of the original 1960's Jungle Jacket we referenced for the design. It is far lighter in weight compared to the original J002 in Canvas, has a surprising amount of natural stretch, and feels extremely comfortable from the first wear. Over time it will develop fading and patina, not unlike it's original vintage counterpart.

The J002 is our interpretation of the 2nd Pattern Vietnam War Jungle Jacket made for the U.S. Army. We have retained it’s utilitarian nature, keeping the jacket unlined and the iconic shape of the front pockets, collar and cuffs. The silhouette has been greatly refined so as to adapt well to it’s new urban environment - the J002 can be worn just as easily over a suit as it can over Army fatigues. Made locally in Melbourne using British canvas in 100% Cotton.
